Diane Frampton

DianeFrampton Bio

Diane Frampton discovered CrossFit in January 2007.  Unhappy with the inconsistent results of treadmills, Step classes and Nautilus machines, she hesitantly tried a CrossFit class and has never looked back.  During her CrossFit journey she gained strength and insight into the way the body functions and performs.  She began to achieve physical feats she never thought possible; completing her first marathon, the Bataan Death March, at the age of 41.

In 2009, she discovered Paleo and began incorporating more whole foods and less processed foods into hers and her family’s diet.  So inspired by the results of Paleo and her love of food, she authored a cookbook, Eat Well, Feel Good, Practical Paleo Living.

In 2012, Diane left a 20 year teaching/counseling career and attained her Level 1 CrossFit Certification.  She began coaching soon after and is excited to be part of the coaching staff at GCCF.   Her favorite part of coaching is helping clients do the things they doubt they can.  She looks to encourage progress at every opportunity, no matter the athlete.

Kate Murphy

Kate Murphy Bio

Kate was a competitive runner all throughout high school and college. She specialized in the 400 meters and ran for Penn State.
After college she noticed that she really missed the camaraderie of working out with her teammates and competing.
After trying multiple gyms and different forms of exercise, it wasn’t until 2009 that she found CrossFit. It was no surprise that she was instantly hooked. She loved the varying exercises that always left her feeling like she just had the greatest workout of her life. The supportive community was so amazing and she has never looked back.
She quickly got her CrossFit Level 1 Certification and competed in the CrossFit Regionals on a team in 2010 and made Regionals as an individual in 2011.
She found her wonderful husband through CrossFit in 2011 and had 2 strong amazing daughters.
Kate states that she is honored to be a coach at GymCore CrossFit and believes it is the best CF community. She loves how everyone supports and encourages each other every time they step in the gym. She loves coaching and seeing members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities working out side by side and pushing each other to be the best they can be. She finds it very rewarding to witness people getting stronger and more confident by the days, weeks, months and years.

Elizabeth Gadbois

Elizabeth Gadbois Bio2

Born and raised on the island of Oahu, HI, Liz did not come from an athletic background. After watching her mother overcome obesity, she promised herself and her mother that she would never let herself go through the same struggle. She eventually became bored with going to the gym, the treadmill, the elliptical, and the 5:30 AM bootcamp classes.  Her husband (boyfriend at the time) told her to try out his gym… Gymcore CrossFit.  After weeks of convincing, she finally took her first class in 2012 and she has been in love with it ever since.

She competed in a few local CrossFit and weightlifting competitions; including the 2014 Bay State Games, where she won 2nd place in the 75kg weight class. She eventually started coaching CrossFit in Beverly, MA after receiving her CF Level 1 Certificate in 2014. In 2015, she made her way back and began coaching where her roots were originally planted… Gymcore! She loves her Gymcore Ohana and is so grateful to be a part of it. She believes in the aloha spirit and bringing positive vibes and a sense of community to the gym.

  • Favorite Part of CF: The diversity and community
