Greg started his own group and private training business in 2009 and has been operating as a CrossFit Affiliate in his hometown of Topsfield, Ma, since 2011.

Marette's journey into fitness began when she was 4, competing as an equestrian for over 18 years and building a deep respect for discipline, grit, and connection to the body. In high school, Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse ignited a passion for athletic training and teamwork that only grew stronger in college, where she realized her true calling: helping others find their own strength and reach their health goals.
Then, in 2011, she found CrossFit, and everything clicked. She knew she had found her place. Since then, she's coached thousands of athletes, at multiple affiliates making GymCore CrossFit her home base. Eager to help beyond the gym floor, she pursued Nutrition through the PN-1 certification in 2016 and completed the M2 Performance Nutrition series in 2021, allowing her to support clients even more deeply in their journeys.
Today, she's honored to work with clients locally and across the country, sharing her hard-won knowledge and love for the process, helping people build resilience and uncover their potential every single day.
A lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast, Lauren began CrossFit in 2016 at the recommendation of another GymCore member. She found CrossFit to be the best balance of cardio and strength training for her, as well as finding a welcoming community of wonderful people.
Having experience coaching field hockey and figure skating, she quickly leaned into earning her L1 in 2017(and eventually her L2 in 2022) and becoming a trainer herself. Lauren has a passion for helping others identify goals and strive towards becoming the best version of themselves. In addition to her work in the gym, Lauren is a licensed mental health counselor, sports performance coach, and certified functional health coach.
As a passionate CrossFit coach, Liz believes in the transformative power of fitness and community. She loves helping individuals unlock their potential, both physically and mentally. Her journey began 7 years ago when she stepped into her first CrossFit box. As a new mom, she struggled with finding a fitness routine that worked for her and also allowed her to feel comfortable. Right away she knew that CrossFit was exactly what she needed.
As her time at GymCore evolved, she knew she wanted to coach and guide others. In 2022, she received her CrossFit Level-1 Trainer Certificate (CF-L1 ) and also received her CrossFit Kids certification. Throughout the year, she runs a number of 5-6 weeks sessions for kids ages 5-8 and 9-12.
Liz is a firm believer in continuing education and to this she will often drop in to other CrossFit locations. While there, she'll mine for different coaching techniques and experience a variety of different athletes. She loves creating a supportive and inclusive environment, where everyone from adults to children, beginners to seasoned athletes can thrive.
Kate has been CrossFitting since 2008 and coaching CF since 2018. As a nursing student at Penn State University, she was also a collegiate track athlete competing in the 400 meter event. After graduation, her competitive fire still burned and when she entered her first CrossFit class in a small kickboxing gym in San Diego in 2008, she felt right at home. When she moved back to the east coast to start her career as an ICU nurse in Boston, Kate quickly found a local CF gym on the North Shore. In 2010, she got her CF L1 certification and competed in the regional CF games as a team member. She also qualified as an individual for regionals in 2011.
Kate found her amazing husband at CF and they now have two beautiful, strong daughters together. Kate continues to compete in local competitions, but has adjusted her goals towards wellness and overall fitness. She now aims to be a role model for her children and help the members of the GymCore community enjoy fitness, have fun, and remain active so they can live long healthy lives and be the best versions of themselves.
