Your Holiday Weekend at GCCF

Saturday: GymCore was rockin’ yesterday morning at the 9 AM Buddy WOD. 12 teams of 2 gave their best for their “Pet Rocks.” We think it’s safe to say, those were some heavy pets!

Then local celebrity Diane Frampton came to speak about “practical paleo living.” She offered lots of inspiring facts and tips to keep our Paleo Challengers honest as they hit week two of the challenge. Two things that will change your life:

1) REDUCE YOUR SUGAR INTAKE     

2) GET 8 HOURS OF SLEEP. EVERY NIGHT. IN A DARK ROOM

 

Sunday: 9 AM open gym this morning followed up by 10 AM Yoga for CrossFitters with our own Kat Mansfield. Paleo Challenge Folks remember (!): +5 points for every yoga class you attend at GymCore CrossFit during the challenge. And don’t forgot your water!

 

Monday: GymCore will be open with the regular schedule on Monday, January 16th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Paleo is just as much about the rest of your life as it is about the food you eat. Our ancestors spent on average 15 hours a week hunting and gathering. The rest of their time was dedicated to socialization and self-care. Get your WOD in at GymCore then keep your computer off. Run, jump, climb, PLAY, talk to a neighbor, help a friend!
